About the artist
Charanjit Singh (1940–2015) was an Indian musician and composer from Mumbai. He worked for decades as a session guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist on major Bollywood film soundtracks. He is best known for his 1982 album Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat, which predated and mirrored the sounds of acid house
