We are excited to open the doors to our new listening room downstairs in collaboration with our friends at Audio Note. Designed with creativity, flexibility, and community at its heart, this is a welcoming space to explore, enjoy, and share great sound together.

The goal for this space, named The Listening Room, is to create moments where customers can relax and fully immerse themselves in the music on the shelves of the shop above. Our ambition at Capsule has always been to make discovering new music a joy, and alongside our Weekly Drop newsletter showcasing brilliant new releases each week, The Listening Room is the next exciting step in our commitment to sharing great music.

On a monthly basis, we will announce an LP to be featured and invite customers to a special late night opening where we can all gather together in The Listening Room, enjoy a drink and a chat and then turn down the lights, turn on our Audio Note system and experience the LP in full. As the creators intended.

The dedicated team at Sussex-based company, Audio Note, has equipped us with their finest components, including the acclaimed AN E SPe HE speakers, the AN Meishu Tonmeister Phono Integrated 300b valve amplifier, and the AN TT3 record player.

What sets Audio Note apart is their unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible sound quality. As pioneers in the audio industry, they produce everything in-house, from valve amplifiers and high-efficiency speakers to turntables, DACs, MC cartridges, and CD players. Each component is meticulously hand-assembled using custom-designed parts crafted to their exacting specifications.

So as you have probably gathered we’re ecstatic to share this system with you all.  But more than that, we are very excited to share our music with you in this way.
