Best known for the rare groove tracks I Don’t Need Nobody Else and What Do You Want Me To Do, this is New York soul at its best. Great strings, horns and sympathetic production back Lou’s emotive and soulful vocals expressing his lyrics to the full. Soul Brother first reissued this album in 1999, and nearly two decades later it’s back in demand again. In the 70s he was signed as an artist to legendary producer Jerry Ragovoy’s Rags label through Epic. Hereafter he was briefly a member of The Fifth Dimension.
