Passing Stranger - RSD26

Passing Stranger - RSD26

Artist: Scott Matthews

Genre: Indie/Rock

Label: Shedio Records

Release date:

Groundbreaking debut album Passing Stranger launched Scott Matthews' career when it was released in 2006 to widespread critical acclaim, leading to an Ivor Novello for "Best Song Musically and Lyrically" for the single 'Elusive'.

Comparisons were made to Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake, alongside fellow Wolves supporter Robert Plant, with whom Matthews' has since collaborated and toured. Both Zane Lowe and Jo Whiley picked ‘Elusive' as their Single of the Week.

The album drew in a host of A-list fans including Dave Grohl, Damon Albarn and Guy Pearce, who went on to star in the stunning Damien Hyde-directed video for 'Wait In The Car' from Matthews' most recent album Restless Lullabies.

With noted hints of Neil Finn, Thom Yorke & Jeff Buckley, the album was described as a "gem of an album" by the BBC on release, and features the track 'Elusive', which won the the 2007 Ivor Novello Award for "Best Song Musically and Lyrically”.

No! No matter what your particularly unique set of circumstances are that mean you can't make it on the day (!) we are not allowed to reserve stock for you. Please don't as us to.

Nope. Records will only be available on the day on a first come first served basis so get to the shop early to avoid disappointment. We will look after you! Anything that does not sell will be available on our website afterwards.

We won't know how many titles we will have (vs what we've ordered) until the boxes turn up in the week of RSD.. We won't be able to predict when items sell out either.

To avoid people reselling online for a higher price and to make sure everyone gets what they want, we are limiting customers to one copy of any one LP.
