We love vinyl. Almost as much as we love the DJs that play it! Our Capsule Connect initiative has an ambition to provide a one stop portal to connect other vinyl lovers to the local vinyl DJ talent that make the bars and clubs of our wonderful city so vibrant.

Having an older brother (5yrs my senior) meant that music came into my life very early on from electric folk, space rock and German electronica. Music has been a constant and help shaped my life socially, politically and culturally. Acid House ignited something in me that drew from all those early influences and eventually brought me behind the decks. I've never looked back.
Meet DJ Darsi, a seasoned DJ with over 30 years of experience electrifying London's club scene and beyond. With a diverse background that includes hosting shows on NTS, Loose FM, London Fields Radio, Soho Radio, and Amsterdam's Red Light Radio, Darsi's sets are a masterful blend of Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, funk, soul, boogie, and disco.
I DJ Like a producer & musician and I make music like a DJ. I play with my entire soul and I've always tried to bring something mystical spiritual in my sets. The percussions and the emotional message of music are the essence of my style leading the way I connect with the listeners searching for that exchange, those special magic moments between me and the audience.
I currently have three main dj gigs in Brighton and Lewes. Along with D'Novo I set up Brighton Sundae which ran for six months at Platf9rm in Hove, but is moving Patterns in February. Brighton Sundae is a lively afternoon dance party, held on the first Sundae of the month. D'Novo and invite guest dis to play alongside us. Last year our afternoon with Rob Luis was incredible. We cover all bases with the music. I particularly love playing soul, funk, latin and afro at Brighton Sundae. As well as Brighton Sundae I am resident dj at Blue Juice on the first Friday of the month at the legendary Jolly Brewers on Ditchling. I do this night alongside Charlie Chas Charles, my oldest dj friend. Wee play soul, funk, latin afro and lots of reggae roots. This night rocks every month. Finally I am just about to set up a new residency at The JohnHarvey Tavern in Less on the last Saturday of the month. This night will focus on soul, funk, reggae and afro.
