Ben Baker
"how did we get here?" - the first & last track won't make sense played next to each other. The journey between is what's interesting. Infectious, wonky & offbeat hiphop, IDM, Rnb & Jazz moving into balaeric, groove & chicago house. Careful selections building the groove & intensity through the set. Vibrant, danceable finishing with a fun payoff

About Ben Baker:
Brighton & Hove resident. Avid vinyl collector, live music enthusiast, regular NTS listener, bad piano player, good drummer and questionably commited local surfer. Expect to hear a mix of hiphop, nujazz, rnb, soul, groove, balaeric, IDM and deep house that take you to a good place. Interesting tracks you won't have heard before and tracks that you wouldn't expect to hear or work in the same set. But they do
What you can expect from Ben Baker:
The genre doesn't matter, the groove does.
I like to hop between genres with the coherent theme between the mix of tracks being an irrestible beat that builds throughout. A groove that is impossible not to move to.
