Events

As part of our commitment to promoting local talent and new music discovery, events felt like a natural progression for us to develop our position within the local community. 

We first began by hosting the best of Brighton's DJs in-store every week, whilst offering the opportunity to our customers who have been collecting vinyl for years and were looking for some great speakers to play through.

This naturally lent itself to hosting in-store sessions and signings with artists such as The Bees and Steven Bamidele, where we hosted intimate events bringing fans closer to the music they love.

Whilst, our store is a lovely relaxing space, we also wanted to throw a party. Because who doesn't love a good party? So we paired up with local DJ collective, Taxi, to bring the brilliant Charlie Dark to Brighton for a special night of dancing into the early hours. We followed this with another amazing night with the DJ's DJ Marcia Carr at Brighton's fantastic Alphabet venue.  Keep an eye on our instagram for details of more to come!

More recently, we began working with our charity partner My University Sussex, a dedicated charity for local hospitals across Sussex to use events to fundraise for the charity. We launched our first Jazz evening with them in August 24 with more to follow.
