"The whole project is extremely close to my heart and it has been a privilege to realise this project with such special people. The seed of this album began at the Royal Academy of Music in a lesson with Pete Churchill, to whom I owe so much as a writer. It was in that room that I first heard the opening melody of the album in my head, and rushed home to write it down, beginning the creation of a full album that has been truly fulfilling and exciting to make."

“From there, the project grew into what I truly regard as a band - David, Scottie, Kevin, Jamie and Gareth are as integral to this album as the music, and it could not exist without them. Since our first concert together back in 2021 in a small London nightclub, there has been a special chemistry within this group, and I could not be more grateful to them for everything they have given this project.
