ROADS VOL.3 is the third installment of Thylacine's iconic ROADS series, recorded in the heart of the stunning landscapes of Namibia, in his caravan studio. A true sonic journey, this album immerses the listener in a unique universe, where every note tells a story of landscape, emotion, and authentic experience.

He continues to embrace a vintage electronic sound that has become synonymous with his work on Chicago Bee Records, while also preserving the haunting, atmospheric textures heard on his previous album A Nice Random Meet.
The result is a stunning collection of filmic instrumentals, steeped in the spirit of the late 1970s / early 1980s synth music.


Classics’ receives a long overdue vinyl re-press for 2025, with a fresh vinyl cut by acclaimed mastering engineer Beau Thomas, and a R&S Records sticker sheet inserted into the LP sleeves including cover artwork of the two singles ‘Digeridoo’ and ‘Xylem Tube’ EP which are both featured on this compilation album.

Metallic Spheres by The Orb and David Gilmour, the guitar and voice of Pink Floyd, has been reimagined and remixed as Metallic Spheres In Colour. Of this rework, producer Youth says “The idea for Metallic Spheres In Colour, was that Alex Paterson (founder of The Orb) could have done more on the first version, and he didn't really have the opportunity because we had a philosophy of making the music like the ‘Blade Runner’ soundtrack meets ‘Wish You Were Here’. So, I asked him why don't we remix it and make it like an Orb classic?
