Seminal dub album produced by Winston Edwards. In 1974 Edwards left Jamaica to reside in the UK and through his strong connections with such reggae luminaries as Joe Gibbs, Lee Perry and King Tubby began to travel back and forth between London and Kingston (JA) to bring back recordings to issue on his Fay Music label here in the UK. In 1974 he released this seminal dub set, which is now considered a classic early Tubby’s dub album. A musical, tuneful and seriously heavy dubwise set with Vin Gordon’s unique trombone lines well to the fore. Essential dub.

KIZZY is the breakthrough EP from rising East London artist Bel Cobain, one of the most distinctive new voices emerging from the UK alternative R&B and soul landscape. Written across 18 months of late-night ideas, scattered sessions, and quiet breakthroughs, the project captures an artist in motion. Following a string of singles that introduced her raw lyricism, KIZZY marks a confident step forward with intimate, sharp, and melodically rich songs that sit in the space between endings and new beginnings.

The attraction of Yurika's mesmerising vocals over Sababa 5's infectious grooves is irresistible across ‘Kokoro’, and the album marks a significant milestone in both their musical journeys. As Sababa 5 continue to redefine their sound, and Yurika establishes herself as a vocalist of note, ‘Kokoro’ stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the timeless bonds of music, love and romance.
Bahamadia boasts production from Gang Starr's own DJ Premier and Guru, DJ Evil Dee and Mr. Walt & Evil D, The Roots, Ski & RedHanded, and N.O. Joe. Everybody gives “Kollage” a cohesive sound of slick urban smoothness. This is some laid back ish, but that doesn't mean that the beats don't bang because they do! And of course the master of ceremony here is Ms. Bahamadia herself. The moment you listen to her, it'll come as no surprise that she is a student of Guru. Her voice is a low monotone (except "Total Wreck"), her flow is incredibly smooth, her delivery is relaxed, and she has an affinity for similes. The good news is that Bahamadia's cool-headed style sounds perfect over the ambient production. What also helps is that she's a pretty damn good rapper. Her technique is sharp and precise and she flows just like clean water.

Krok means step in Belarusian - and for Alex Chumak and his band this word comes with a lot of meaning. It's the title and theme that ran throughout COIO3 (SOYUZ)'s fourth album, reflecting the journeys the band has navigated in recent years, having moved to Warsaw due to political unrest in their homeland of Belarus and the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
