About Discothèque Tropicale:

I'm part of Discothèque Tropicale which is a DJ collective and record label created to celebrate and generate interest in a range of borderless music and culture from around the world. I play a lot of music from Africa, Brazil and The Caribbean across the genres Jazz, Disco and Soul. I regularly have gigs in London at Audiophile bars such as Brilliant Corners and Jumbi but would love to share more of this amazing music with my local community and the lovely people of Brighton!

Discothèque Tropicale celebrates sun filled music from around the world with a particular focus on music from Africa and the Caribbean. You will hear music which you may have never heard before from little known genres such as Zouk, Soukous, Bubblegum and more. I believe this music deserves to be heard by a wider audience and you will come away wanting to hear more.
