Recorded in Berlin during their whirlwind world tour, ‘SOGOLO’ brims with urgency, excitement and discovery, propelled as always by the magnetic presence of frontman Emmanuel ‘Jagari’ Chanda.
About the artist
The full story of WITCH is almost too extraordinary to believe. Known as the ‘Zambian Beatles’, they founded the Zamrock movement and released seven albums throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. Tragically, the AIDS epidemic brought an end to the Zamrock era, claiming the lives of all original members except Jagari.
