MF Doom (Daniel Dumile) was not only one of the most influential beatmakers but also an excellent wordsmith and lyricist.

Doom's career began with the rap group KMD but after a member of the band was struck by a car, Doom retreated from the underground hip-hop scene. He returned but wanted to mask his identity. Heavily inspired by comic books, Doom adopted a mask and a supervillain persona.

He has operated under many aliases but one thing remains the same: his signature metal mask and the power of his music.
